The Accorsi Name
My grandparents, William & Marisa Accorsi, are at the center of my greatest memories. Pulling inspiration from my grandfather's business in preserving family heirlooms and my grandmother's creativity and attention to detail as a cross stitcher, I want to capture the memories of your family as they are today.
My grandfather, with his father, operated a watch and jewelry business in Springfield, Massachusetts after serving in World War II.
My name is Brittaney.
Mom to three and an iPhone camera roll of 130k. Photography has always been woven into my life (fun fact: my first job at 16 was as a portrait studio photographer). When I wasn’t carting around my camera, I was studying and working as a speech language pathologist- up until my daughter was born that first cold week of March 2020. Since then, I've started my newest adventure as a photographer and business owner.

Photos are stories.
My grandmother would take photos of my sister and I, in our matching clothes, all over her home. Using our environment as the backdrop. All of our memories of life in that little red house preserved on glossy 4x6 prints. There is a photo of my sister and I sitting on her couch that I adore. We are looking at each other in our fluffy dresses with matching bonnets. New sitters. My grandmother would tell this story every time I asked: she set us up for a picture and we both tipped over before she could get the shot. She shuffled back to the couch, sat us up, and by the time she stood back to take the photo we were down again. On the third attempt, we both looked at each other and she was able to get the photo. It wasn't what she intended, but it was one of her favorites. This photo preserves a memory, not just of the moment, but of all the times I heard this story from her in the years that followed.
